Bob haircuts have never really gone out of style, but it seems like 2023 may officially be the year of short hair, based on recent celebrity haircuts. On December 12, Michelle Pfeiffer, who usually has long hair, revealed her collarbone-grazing, blunt blonde bob. Now, a few days later, Zendaya is joining in on the short haircut fun with a voluminous bob that barely grazes her shoulders.

The Euphoria star debuted her new short haircut at a screening of the show for award consideration on December 18. She arrived at the event with her caramel brown bob parted on the side and one side tucked behind her ears with a tendril of hair untucked. We're not sure if her short hair was blown out, curled, or styled in another manner, but her bob looks glorious with the added texture, volume, and body. Honestly, we would love to see Zendaya give us her best hair commercial-worthy hair flip with this short hair, so we can see all its movement and body.

Zendaya isn't completely new to short hairstyles. She's rocked various short haircuts through the years, including faking a bob cut at another screening for Euphoria back in April. But this cut might just be the shortest style we have ever seen the Shake It Up star have that's not the work of a wig — and we're loving every inch of it.

Zendaya has never hesitated to experiment with new looks whether through fashion or beauty, so hopefully she decides to dip into some new, brighter hair colors in 2023. The Spider-Man star teased us with red hair during the movie's premiere and at the end of 2021, and we would love to see her bring it back or try a brighter orange hue.
